世界上最常见的癌症是哪一种？
答案是：肺癌。
肺癌不仅是世界上最常见的癌症类型，也是最凶险的。每年有150万人被肺癌夺去生命，高于乳腺癌、结直肠癌和前列腺癌的总和1。
据统计，2/3以上的肺癌患者在确诊时已是晚期，癌细胞已扩散至身体其他部位2。即使经过手术、放疗和化疗，肺癌仍是生存率最低的癌症类型之一。如果不加治疗，肺癌患者的生命仅能维持数月3。
但是，时至今日，社会大众对肺癌仍有很多误解。这不仅使很多患者延误了诊断和治疗，其中一些误解还可能会使肺癌患者生活在“羞耻感”的阴影下。
