报告题目：Development of Robust and Efficient Process in Pharmaceutical Industry
孙勇奎，Ph.D. Dr. Sun began his 22 years of career atMerck as a Senior Research Chemist. Hegained a broad range of drug development and business experiences at Merck bytaking on responsibilities across two divisions and five departments. At Merck, he established an industry-leading Catalysis Laboratory and delivered significant value to the Company, for whichhe was named a Presidential Fellow in 2006, the highest honor in Merck ResearchLaboratories.
In 2010, Dr. Sun worked withMerck's Chief Strategy Officer to develop R&D strategy in China, whichultimately led to the establishment of the MSD R&D Center in Beijing. Later he led a group of a senior Merck teamon assignment in China to work with CROs towards rapidly advancing Merck's drugpipeline. In 2012, Dr. Sun moved toBusiness Development and Licensing where he built an effective network withacademia, biotech and VCs in Greater China for search and evaluation of noveltargets and therapeutics (in oncology, immuno-oncology, and for cardiometabolic and infectious diseases) towards the goal of strengthening Merck’sR&D pipeline.
In 2015, Merck reacheda milestone in China, licensed in, for the first time from Greater China, aninnovative therapeutic candidate (an immuno-oncology asset). Dr. Sun played a key role in the successfullicensing, from search, evaluation through due diligence.
Dr. Sungraduated from Xiamen University (BS in chemistry, 1982) and from Caltech witha Ph.D. degree in chemistry (1990). Hehas co-authored 73 publications in journals including JACS, PNAS and Science.
Dr.Sun is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering.

杨晟，研究员，本科毕业于浙江大学化学工程系，于中国科学院上海生物化学研究所获得博士学位后在中科院上海生命科学研究院从事酶工程与代谢工程研究至今，相关技术应用于生物催化和发酵工业，获杜邦青年教授奖、诺维信创新奖与上海市科技进步一等奖等。

---我的催化剂及成套技术开发实践
缪长喜，博士，教授级高级工程师，中国石化上海石油化工研究院副总工程师。华东理工大学、上海师范大学、海南大学兼职教授。
1996年毕业于复旦大学化学系催化专业，获理学博士学位。2011-2012年，在美国加州大学伯克利分校做访问学者。
1996进入中国石化工作以来，一直从事基本有机原料催化剂及成套技术的研究开发工作。先后承担国家“973”计划、国家“863”计划、中石化重大科研项目50余项。
主持研究的乙苯脱氢催化剂，彻底打破了国外公司长期的技术封锁和市场垄断，在中国石化、中国石油、中国化工、中国海洋石油等公司的26套苯乙烯装置上大规模推广应用，并成功出口到美国和台湾及中东地区。
负责开发的乙苯脱氢成套技术，创造性地解决了国外技术中普遍存在的三联换热器泄漏等世界性难题，开发了具有自主知识产权的节能流程，装置能耗下降15％以上，国内先后有23家企业采用成套技术建成或在建乙苯脱氢装置，为国家绿色低碳战略的实施做出了应有的贡献。
缪长喜同志申请中国发明专利203项，发表研究论文85篇，获国家及省部级技术发明奖和科技进步奖12项，被中国石化评为“突出贡献专家”和“高级专家”，获得“全国五一劳动奖章”、“全国化工优秀科技工作者”、“全国石油化工优秀科技工作者”等荣誉，享受国务院特殊津贴。
